got Class Action Park queued up after this episode of Big Brother, can’t wait

 

Definitely did not expect to burst out laughing multiple times during Action Park lol

Especially when people were talking about their feelings about the owner of the place and it just cuts to an old lady going "I think he's a piece of shit" only to immediately cut away from her again xD

 

Ok, the documentary gets a lot more heartbreaking towards the last half hour. Damn. Makes me genuinely angry for the families affected by the place.

Also, pretty wild to see an alpine slide. Attitash Mountain in NH has one, and I definitely injured myself on it. Flew off the cart, ripped the skin off my knee, and then the cart came from behind and smacked me in the head. Still runs every summer, though.

 

Just finished the HBO series about the Golden State Killer, very compelling

 

Have you watched I’ll Be Gone In The Dark yet? If not, that should be next on your list.

Action Park looks like the shadiest/most dangerous/insane yet fun as shit place ever.

 

It's weird to have a documentary make it so clear how messed up that place was, but at the same time, I can totally see myself loving that place in high school and not thinking twice about it hah

 

Okay, started Harley Quinn last night and this show is sooo good and hilarious. 6 episodes in and loving it

 

This was without hyperboyle, one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

 

Just finished Harley Quinn! So bummed to be over with it. Really hoping for a 3rd season, that show exceeded my expectations

 

The NXIVM doc series is super interesting, but truly no reason for it to be nine episodes long.

 

Thank you for this. I started this show because of the hype but am halfway into season 1 and am not feeling it at all. Will keep watching

 

No problem! That’s exactly how I felt when I first started. It was...fine. I felt quite a bit underwhelmed. The longer you stick with it, the clearer it becomes why it became the hit that it was. Once those emotional beats start hitting it never really lets up. Kind of feels like they recalibrated at some point and that season two finale is always where I go in my head.

 

I'm gonna be alternating seasons between of She-Ra and a rewatch of Teen Titans (which I have on DVD, but is also available on HBO Max). Just finished TT S2, Terra's arc (particularly Betrayal/Aftershock 1-2) are some of my favorite animated episodes of all time; I still feel the feels.

I had no prior knowledge of the series before, but like, why are the white guys who wanted to make a show about the Confederacy continuing on after the Civil War now adapting a novel that was written by a Chinese person in Chinese?
