I don’t know. There is something to be said for bands that think outside the box and don’t rely on touring and albums sales to determine their level of success. I get it that they are in a place that most bands can only dream of getting to, but they are also proof that hard work goes a long way.

Oh. I wasn't decrying their hard work at all. Their ethos is the thing I admire about them the most.

It just bothers me a bit for them to call out the rest of the genre for not being forward thinking enough when there a lot of other bands that are equally as deserving to be in the same position. They've earned it, and they're doing their part to advance the genre by showcasing bands like Jesus Piece and Vein so I'm not disparaging them at all.

But bands like Blood Incantation and Full of Hell are pushing the genre just as far forward, in my eyes...so yeah, like I said.

Sorry if this came out like word soup because it's really hard to type this out properly.
