Understandable, as after all this is just a sport, just would like some glimmer of a bright spot this year.

 

The fucking power

 

Surprising, as it seems that how LeBron goes, so does the rest of the league. Maybe they change their mind now if the Clips and Lakers are serious (and all indications point to that yes, they are serious).

 

I think they force these owners and Adam Silvers hand to do more about these issues

 

Can only imagine the talk of how bad this will hurt the league popularity wise though.

 

It won’t hurt them long term and whatever change and justice this brings justifies whatever short term losses there may be

Probably will with the casuals, just an out of sight out of mind thing, but who cares

 

Yeah but casuals come and go and don’t really move the needle

 

Have seen multiple posts and gotten multiple texts from friends who are not basktball fans but know i am a bucks fan stating support and giving kudos - if anything this might make the nba more popular with folks who arent necessarily fans but are on the side of justice. No other league has shown even a morsel as much of care as the nba has, it is remarkable.

 

Clippers and Lakers did a mic drop. Good fucking lord

I know it's not exactly the same thing, but LeBron says a lot of things and then goes back on his word...

This really feels like it could go either way. Most teams seem interested, but they really need some hard commitments from ownership. Lakers/Clippers putting their foot down shows they’re not serious, Lebron really has so much power here.

Praying this does something.
