Great major step by the players today. But I don’t see the season being cancelled (it should be) and the pessimist in me sees games tomorrow or Friday and before you know it today’s protest of games is forgotten about.

Sadder yet, when one of these shootings inevitably happens again do they protest again? I hope so. I feel like everything is remembered so short term, today’s actions can’t be forgotten about but worry it will be.

(remember when everyone lost their minds when some NFL players kneeled or stayed in the locker room one week and everyone burned their merch and then three weeks later is was never mentioned again)

 

I love that these athletes are trying to do anything to change this country and I fucking applaud every one of them....

 

Anyone notice that one of the games was replaced by The Longest Yard? That’d be one heck of a coincidence.
