Shocker that a league full of rich, affluent white men cant read the room to save their lives. They just showed how fucking exclusionary this sport is at its core and it’s never going to change because the players can’t be bothered to give a shit. At least the league got to pat themselves on the back by letting Matt Dumba give a speech before a game.

 

yeah, not at all shocked the NHL didn't postpone any of these games...still super dissapointing.

I think it’s pretty cool that a goal can be challenged because someone was 0.000005mm offsides ten years before a goal is scored, but if a smooth-brain dumbfuck ref skates directly into a defender, nothing can be done.

The players are so insulated in the bubble that I doubt they even know what's going on in their own city. Chara isn't a dumbass and even he used the "we just woke up from our pregame naps & had no idea what was going on" excuse. As if he didn't attend an anti-police brutality protest two months ago.
