so cold war isnt using the mw engine. instead its using stuff from both the mw engine and a revamped version of the blops 3 engine.

I don’t know enough to know what to make of the Cold War stuff.

I will say that the latest update made thermal scopes for the sniper completely useless

 

but cold war is gonna have to use the mw engine more then they are letting on if they are including warzone cuz warzone is completely built on the mw engine

 

I wonder of that is true in the purest sense. There are a lot of people that only play PC games, especially in large parts of Asia and parts of Europe (and, I would assume, Africa). Often many consoles aren’t even available in a lot of countries with large populations. It wouldn’t surprise me if PC gamers outnumber console gamers because of that. When it comes to what we think of as AAA games however you are definitely right.

If they are all the same price, then why is he wrong for saying they should raise it for PC?

Especially if it is just that one company doing it?

I don’t play PC yet so I’m not plugged into all of that

 

It’s more then just Activision. 2k is doing it for nba 2k21 and whatever Ubisoft puts out after far cry 6 next year will be 70

 

idk just bc something cost $70 on PS doesn’t mean I would outwardly hope for Switch games to cost the same for instance. I was mostly joking since it has no bearing but I don’t get the mindset haha

 

Fair point. Also because sometimes Switch games are higher than other consoles. But it's all super murky right now.

In all seriousness for one second, I think the pricing scheme across the board is just a mess right now. There's so many confusing tiers like the Call of Duty mess, but there's also season/battle passes, microtransactions, free to start, gatcha, and a bunch more things.

It's just too much.

 

And then indies are always priced at a fraction of other titles just because they are "AAA titles or experiences".
