20 years ago today

 

Just wanted to leave this link to remind anyone about my new podcast with my daughter. The concept’s simple: I introduce her to all the classics & heavy-hitters and we talk about them here, with a different film being discussed each week. This week we talked about this year’s Birds of Prey. By now we’re on every major podcast platform and if you’re able to - good reviews will certainly help us with exposure. Hope you enjoy!!

Am I the only person who remembers that bananas have potassium in them because of that one scene in Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves?

 

I think about this almost every time I get a cramp or just eat a banana in general.

 

Hahahaha same! Why has this stuck with us so much?! I don't remember a single think from Bill Nye, but I remember that bananas have potassium from some movie sequel... haha

I have no idea. I barely remember anything else from that movie either. Whenever the movie itself comes up, it's usually the first thing that comes to mind. That and I think there's a scene with a daddy longlegs?

 

The only other part of the movie I remember is when the parents go down a Hot Wheels track.

 

Watching Catching Fire and completely forgot Philip Seymour Hoffman was in this :/. Miss em

Not sure if anyone is familiar with the podcast, Who Shot Ya?, but it's a really good movie podcast and the hosts are all POC/LGBTQ. Richard Linklater is on today talking about Before Midnight. Worth a listen.
