Welp, as bad as this RAW was from the start, it got even worse when they just wasted that entrance for no reason

 

don't they realize "demon king" sounds too much like "demon kane"?

 

It's like they wanted to see if the match itself could save whatever terrible booking decisions they made

 

"Finally, they're chanting for Demon Kane! I knew they'd get on board dammit!"

 

for real though, who the hell booked the go home show before Summerslam in Corpus Christi? Crowd is always dead when they go there.

I think that was a fair intro to Demon Finn. I think people would have been confused if he just popped up for the first time there. Gotta tease that crowd a little bit.

 

Why is this match a thing?

Yep, no way to read him as anything other than the heel in this feud. He injected himself randomly, interrupts a celebration and puts Lana into the cake. Then he calls them ugly and insults their future kids. The kind of shit only Jericho/Rock could get away with, and even then, its cause their opponent was doing super heelish shit.

They could totally do a cool double-turn with this. But, I think WWE might actually think Reigns is a face here

 

the fuck are they gonna do at Summerslam now? They basically just booked a standard US title match here on RAW

And Reigns gets out of the Accolade. Only possible bright side is that maybe Reigns is losing Sunday...but, feels like its gonna be zany booking that causes him the loss

im all for making every raw important but i hated debuting Demon King tonight and not summerslam. I literally thought that was the whole idea behind Balor being in a main event

seeing Finn Balor's demon entrance live was pretty awesome. moment of the night for sure.

 

why does your city suck so much?

 

revealing the demon king last night on Raw is fine because it gives some backstory for fans who don't watch NXT and might tune into SummerSlam to see this dude now. The biggest issue I have is that there wasn't anything special afterwards. If the demon is supposed to be this thing Finn summons to end lives then why is Rollins unmoved by it? Just lazy writing.

 

I didn't watch this match, but holy fuck. Shibata is the most brutal guy to watch in New Japan.
