I tried to stay up to listen at midnight but my body had other plans. First spin just completed. This thing is wonderful. To Death's Heart was my favorite on first pass but there's so much to explore.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

does "Pan and Broom" remind anyone else of "Forest Whitaker" by Bad Books but they added some French New Wave DNA or something

Delivery date changed to today! They didn’t email a digital download and I don’t have Spotify premium so I’ll wait for my record.

I decided to listen to his complete discography and this is the first time I’ve listened to that first album and man, I find a lot of this...very annoying.

what are you meaning by the first album?

letting off the happiness, collection of songs, or water?

I like a few things on here, but a lot of it was definitely written by a 15 year old lol.

Letting Out the Happiness is okay. I should probably give it another shot.

The outro to Dance & Sing is perfect. Anyone know where that audio clip comes from?

To Death's Heart reminds me a lot of Desert Island Questionnaire.

Feels like they found a medium between The People's Key and Cassadaga. I'm into this.

I definitely hear a lot of this as an expansion of Cassadaga’s sound, but maybe a little darker? Moodier? And in that way, yeah, TPK makes sense as a comparison.

went on a run that ended with to deaths heart and calais to dover. looked like a really big dip shit walking home in tears

  23. I’ve seen that void, tried not to stare
There’s bodies in the Bataclan, there’s music in the air
And they sing, "Éphémère, éphémère, éphémère…”
    And “Wish You Were Here”

Hot Car in the Sun is the one that broke me on my second pass. Great placement of that one in the full sequence. It’s the gut punch & then the rest of the tracks gang up on you in a kind of mortal kombat “finish him” type of way
