I’d be fine with the “home” theme coming to an end. But, more than anything, I just want a good Spider-Man film that gives me the Spider-Man goods.

I kinda like that about the character though. He never got away from his demons and his attempts to escape them always made things worse.

Nice, really hope this is their next project after Morbius, Venom, & Spider-Man.

My first guess & biggest hope continues to be Jessica Drew Spider-Woman. Also wouldn’t mind finally getting Black Cat, Silver Sable, or another Spider-Woman.

A live-action spider-woman should be good, but I'm not too aware of Wilde as a director.

 

IIRC, she directed Booksmart, which did pretty good.

 

Booksmart was a really fun comedy (cowritten by Katie Silberman, who's also working on this with Wilde).

A Spider-Woman film from the same director as Booksmart, from the same studio as Venom, should be a ton of fun. Hopefully the whole "Sony Universe of Marvel Characters" (outside of what appears to be a Morbius dud) ends up being a super fun extended Spider-Man playground. Which, hopefully will eventually lead to one big, fun, appropriately dumb crossover.
