No, it didn't cause him to lose, but what I'm saying is Trump didn't win because he was more popular than Hillary. She got what, 3 million more votes? I just feel like I'm seeing a lot of revisionist history these days that Hillary lost because no one liked her - and for the record I think she was a bad bad bad awful candidate - but its just not borne out in the facts that she lost due to unpopularity. Its a broken electoral system, GOP gerrymandering, disenfranchisement, foreign interference. Yadda yadda I'm not saying anything you don't know.

Yeah technically it is because it's the Senate Intel committee report, which is chaired by Richard Burr and is majority Republican. This was the committee that was actually mostly proceeding in a bipartisan fashion. Obviously the results of the report seem to bear that out.

 

This is correct, and it's also patronizing to make friends with people to fill some sort of imaginary quota. I'm not close friends with any right-leaning people and that's not on purpose, it's just how it's happened. I don't plan on changing that just to "educate myself" lol

 

I mean, it was always clear that, even if Trump wasn't directly involved in what was going on, he was knowingly benefitting from what was happening and also actively encouraging it in public. None of that has changed and all of that has been known for years. It doesn't matter, nobody in government or the media cares and neither do most Americans seemingly. Just have to focus on the election because that's what matters right now.
