The day of the election they're staged at drop boxes so at 7pm on the dot they lock the boxes, collect the ballots, and drive them back to the counting machines. Drop boxes are even more secure than the USPS boxes lol

I realized it a long time ago. Outdated constitution written 200+ years ago, still using imperial system, doing your own taxes, not having universal healthcare... plus everything else we mentioned by now, just to name a few :)

There are still a lot of good things about US though, and it's definitely one of the most interesting countries.
