  1. Rewatching hell on wheels. Really enjoy this show. It gets wacky in the last season or two, but it's a good period piece show.

Re-watched A League of Their Own tonight for the first time in at least a decade. Wife had never seen it before (because she "hates" old movies, but has enjoyed every old movie I've put on during this pandemic)... that's a tear jerker at the end. Really excited to see how the new series turns out.

I think that's the next movie I'll make my wife watch with me only to have her check her phone 50+ times while trying to get through it.

Is this streaming anywhere? I used to love this as a kid, my wife has not seen it. Gotta change that.

I just plowed through all three episodes of Ted Lasso, which premiered this weekend on Apple TV+.

It's, uh, great? Like genuinely heartwarming and hilarious?

If you have one and haven't cashed it in yet, I dare say this is worth using your free year of Apple TV+ on.

Sitcom produced by Bill Lawrence (Scrubs), co-created and starring Jason Sudekis. Based on, of all things, some skits from NBC Sports in 2013-2014 about an American college football coach who moves to England to coach a football club.

Has a real heart to it.

I’m interested to check this out. Heard about it from the Scrubs podcast because Zach Braff directed episode 2.

Just finished “I Love You, Now Die,” the HBO documentary about Michelle Carter.

It’s pretty amazing how sad I feel for her now. Most the things I had heard about her and the case were flat out not true or misrepresented. Really not sure how I feel about her going to prison. I think she should have gone to a mental hospital instead. Gonna do some reading on it now.

I wish they would’ve gone into what her family life was like. And while it’s tragic for his family, the fact that his parents, particularly the father, was mentally and physically abusive but were portrayed in a sympathetic way was very odd.

I'm still not 100% sold on Ted Lasso through the first two episodes. Feels like the NBC skits kinda already nailed all the best jokes for the concept from the start and I'm not a fan of the office style "guy awkwardly makes a fool of himself" kind of humor

But the last 5-10 minutes of E2 started to turn things around for me. Especially the reveal that Ted bakes the biscuits himself They definitely need to lean less into "Ted the American idiot who doesn't understand anything about soccer or england" and more into "Ted the wholesome guy who genuinely believes in and supports everyone around him" but if they do that, the show might actually work.
