Depends how the Biden/Harris terms go. If it’s largely lame duck and approval is low, then it could be a competitive primary.

  3. Would probably be a fool's errand but a lot can happen in 4 years.

There's so much that could happen, we can't predict a few months from now let alone four years.

It's going to be Harris/Buttigieg 2024. Unless he really fizzes out these 4 years, which I don't expect.

There should definitely be a primary if Joe only does one term and someone should definitely challenge in 4 years when healthcare is still an insurance industry run mess, people are still in jail for marijuana, we’re still extracting natural gas, whistleblowers are still going to prison, childcare is still unaffordable for working class families, we’re still drone bombing countries, still funding Israel, etc etc etc

I'll give a second option, AOC. For the first double female ticket in history.
Edit: just want to reiterate these are predictions, not wishes

This kind of baseless speculation about things well into the future that always begins the second after something notable happens makes it feel like people treat politics like a spectator sport

True. I'm going to back to being a lurker now, my apologies. Got conversational with the relief of it being Kamala over someone worse.

I am willing to bet Trump does not exceed his vote total from 2016

Especially if its just griping. "Grumble grumble, bet its gonna be buttigeig". Not if you spend the next four years working for a different outcome!

Predicting the future after the last four years we've had is hilarious.

Got rid of facebook impulsively and have had no regrets, once its gone you don't even realize it really.

Only annoying thing has been redoing my logins that I used to use facebook for.
