Polo G is in my AOTY list. I know some Rod Wave songs. I’ll have to check out the rest.

 

Polo G is great - so glad he's on this list. Don't miss out on Chika - she's awesome. Her EP "Industry Games" is on streaming and tremendous but a good intro to her and her talent is her NPR Tiny Desk concert.

 

There are a few on that cover I don’t really know but Polo G, Rod Wave, and Lil Keed are at least solid picks (Polo definitely would have fit better last year).

That Day1 thing is weird. Says I’m in the top 7% of Pusha T fans when I’ve barely listened to him. There are many MANY more rappers I’ve been listening to more.

That Rap Caviar playlist is normally full of stuff I don’t listen to anyway

Ah fair enough. Although I do not remember listening to Pusha AT ALL in 2014 haha

 

Day 1 thing only really works for artists that debuted after spotify

 

Definitely, I had Rick Ross and Kanye in there, it was dumb. They said “You created the Kanye hype” because I listened to him in 2013 and thereby was in the top 4% or something still lol That’s an odd fact by itself though, but probably due to how the user base grew since the

 

Both tapes rule.

 

I only started my Spotify trial in 2017. Do I not get a day 1 thing? I don’t see mine

A little over a year ago, I was getting rid of my facebook, and my Spotify account had been setup thru FB - so for whatever reason I ended up just saying screw it, deactivating that spotify account and creating a new one from scratch. That certainly hurt my stats with 2019/Decade Wrapped and I can see the impact of that happening again:

Somehow, someway, I am a day1 fan of DaBaby

 

That shouldn’t matter, when you opened your account doesn’t affect this stat
