Z peaked my curiosity. Okonokos indoctrinated me for life.

 

One Big Holiday has always fascinated me because it's a song where the verses are loud choruses and the choruses are "quiet" verses.

 

...same! I saw them open for Wilco and then Pearl Jam around the time of Z and I was blown away by their live performance. The release of Okonokos was timed perfectly because it gave all the Z newcomers (like myself) an easy next step to go through their earlier material.

 

I believe I discovered them just after Z came out by reading about them in the newspaper when they played with The Boston Pops. I think I started with Z but I very quickly picked up everything I could find by them and fell in love with all of it.

Shipment for Waterfall II? Nice. I just got my anniversary copy of Z so I'm tided over until Waterfall II shows up...along with my MMJ grinder, haha

 

Smoking ribs today so obviously I’m going to turn it still moves on and day drink

Still waiting on my wax. They said I’d get it by release day and now it’s two days later.

I got that generic notice two weeks ago and it says “late September “ so I’m not surprised.

 

Generic notice? I didn’t get this. So it’s delayed I guess then?

 

Color Test mailed me and said it’d be shipped after September 7. They also sent me a 20% off code, so keep an eye peeled for that if yours was delayed (I ordered through the official store).

We wanted to update you on the shipping timeline for the limited edition LP. Production is going slower than we had hoped and finished LPs will now arrive into our shipping center in late September. They will be shipping immediately to customers upon arrival. The delay is due to a variety of factors but the simple explanation is that production schedules, pressing plants and shipping lines have been understandably thrown off-course these past few months, and everybody is now catching up. It’s leading to longer vinyl turnaround times than usual. For now here is a download link of the album so you can enjoy it digitally.

We hope you understand. It will be worth the wait!
