These guys really have an incredibly solid discography from beginning to end for how closely together it was all released

 

It's true, not really any misses, just some songs that are less good than others.

two year anniversary of iridescence, damn

feels like it's been out forever for me but it's still insanely fresh somehow

 

easily their best, just banger after banger

 

perfect album

sad they'll never do that style again because fans are bad

 

When I heard J'ouvert for the first time I was shocked. It elevated them to an entirely different level artistically. I love Ginger, but it felt like such a step back sonically compared to songs like J'ouvert, Weight, District, Honey.. man.

 

"J'OUVERT" is still as wild as the first time I heard it. song bangs

 

My first BH album and easily my favorite

 

Listening to iridescence again to try to get more into it, I’ve always thought it was thematically and technically their best but I personally never enjoyed it too much

 

It’s just a bummer that this mix of electronica/house and hip hop has always been polarizing to the hip hop community outside of the UK scene.

it happened with Yeezus, Iridescence and Big Fish Theory where they were all considered outliers but now considered the arguably best yet but that style doesn’t exist more.

 

This poor band also has shitty fans who bitch and moan about a member who hasn't been with them for almost 3 years now and was rightfully kicked out

 

Iridescence is so messy in the best way possible, it just bursts at the seams with good ideas. I used to find it frustrating that a good ‘bit’ would only last a few seconds but now it is part of what I love about it.

 

I adored that sound as much as anyone, but they seemed to be in a really bad place making iridescence (understandably of course) and much happier and healthier making GINGER, so I'm happy if they are

 

Yeah, the aggression definitely comes through on Iridescence. GINGER feels more content. Both great records

 

BFT is by far my favorite of the 3, the hooks on that thing are incredible

 

I haven’t listened to ginger at all

iridescence is still played weekly

 

Ginger is good though
