He grew up singing in plays and shit at school but hadn't really done it since then and was mostly working on comics and cartoons.

ah I guess that might explain some of the theatrical elements of the band lol

pretty crazy they got so far so fast without him having any experience making music

I have a year! But I guess you never know. I'm naive and like to think I'll still find a passion I'm good at. I'm not sure that I'm ambitious or committed enough to learn something new and have a swift career change but maybe I'll find my calling lol.

It definitely won't be singing tho I can say that!

I'd love to do music stuff, but I know I'm not good enough to make it in a fairly saturated industry. I guess Gerard also kind of joined in a time period that was really good for joining the industry (I think) so that certainly helped too. It seems a lot of bands are kind of from that 2000-2006 era.

God damn it this band is magical.

All 5 albums are wonderful. I've been non stop listening to this band for like two weeks now.

Can't stop listening to Three Cheers in particular. What a fucking achievement in dark, moody, emo/rock music.

It's a shame James Dewees never became a permanent member, or at least a permanent member for an extended period of time, because when MCR do use keys/synths in their music it meshes so well with their aesthetic. James is such a great musician too, he would've worked so well with them.

The parts he added to the Black Parade songs in The Black Parade Is Dead Tour were really cool

All I can think of when I see James mentioned is his sexy cop routine at live shows that I was surprised with on the Say Anything IARB 10 year tour...

Isn't Dewees playing in Frank's project now? Lil homie always felt like the (real) 5th member of MCR not only cause he toured with them so much but he seemed to get along with them better than any of their drummers. I know Frank has been friends with him for a long time and I think Gerard has too.

Favorite song on there is a tough choice for me. Hang 'Em High, Helena, The Ghost Of You, and I Never Told You... have always been my personal highlights. The whole album is brilliant, though.

I think I'd go with Helena but I don't really love any song on there

Is it cheating if I say my least favorite is Interlude because I'd feel like I'm hurting my own child to say a least favorite song on it

I like Interlude more than Give Em Hell Kid. It's one of my favorite instrumental interludes in an album, right up there with Ad Astra Per Aspera.

Hang Em High is my favorite TC song and probably my favorite MCR song

Oh I don't even wanna say Interlude is my least favorite. It's just the shortest one so I thought it would hurt the least haha
