I grew up on No Limit, so through four episodes, there's nothing really new there for me or has come as a surprise throughout the documentary, but for those that maybe weren't following No Limit or didn't grow up on it, I think it could be really eye opening how insanely successful they were and how artists that no one had ever heard of were dominating the Billboard charts week in and week out for like, two straight years.

Tyler has absolutely murdered all of his features this year, I really hope his next album is pure rapping, he's better than ever

One of my all-time favorite mixtapes, not gonna lie. Can only hope he’ll one day release something as good as this again.

 

Tbh I prefer Late Nights the Album. Admittedly I was late to the mixtape but the album has a bunch songs that I love (and that I think are quite diverse in sound for coming from the same album).

 

Both are great but I think I like the tape more.

 

Late Nights the Album is great, though falls off a bit at the end (but Paradise is gorg). IMO, the mixtape hones a sound perfectly aligned between r&b and hip-hop with INCREDIBLE features that continues to blow my mind (while Jeremih somehow manages to rap better than the featured rappers). The production is also just really nice, much less woozy and dark than the album which I prefer

 

That mixtape was/is so good. Not something I’d listen to at all at the time, I rarely listened to any RnB. But there was something about that tape that grabbed me. The beats were the highlight, I think. Woozy and sexy but still kinda banged.

Haven’t been able to get into anything else of his since or anything similar, it really is a bit of an anomaly for me haha

Late Nights the album is incredible imo, Pass Dat -> Impatient-> Oui -> Drank is a crazy run.
And I Did, Actin' Up, Remember Me, Don't Tell Em, Woosah, Worthy in the back half. Great album

Amine album fully lived up to my expectations, this dude has gotten really good. Really great production, easily his best rapping to date and a dope feature list, strongly recommend it
