I def think it outshines the album version

 

I've been waiting for an acoustic album from these guys and I am SOOOO happy its going to be Hello Exile. The new versions are amazing. Its going to be perfect for the fall when this is out.

both sounded great to me - but i will probably pass on a vinyl variant of this.

 

I'm all about reimagined Menzos tunes. Instant pre-order. Hopefully more bands have been working on cool projects like this during their down time.

 

So is the alt version of America going to be on this or a reworking of the original?

 

I would think it had be worked on more - these two new songs sound leaps and bounds better than that one, just production wise.

 

Also after how much I loved this record and how much I love these two released tracks, I couldn’t have pre-ordered this faster.

Looks like November shipping dates for this, too? I wonder if pressing plants are just that backed up right now? These are about the same target ship dates as the Taylor Swift folklore records.

Bought the pink variant. They do a wonderful job on acoustic renditions.

 

pressing plants have been consistently backed up for several years now. there are too few of them in NA and starting them up is v difficult with how much machinery you need (presses are like impossible to find)

i've been wondering when/if they'd ever release something like On the Possible Past again, which was just acoustic demos, so From Exile takes it to another level. i'm eager to hear this whole thing.

 

This news reminded me that I had gone too long without listening to the Menzingers this summer. That’s been rectified today.

 

Didn't dig this album as much as their previous work, but I'll defintely give this a chance. Acoustic Menz is always good shit. OTIP acoustic demos were amazing.

 

think i'd have prefererred an acoustic album from across their career but beggars can't be choosers!

 

According to the Menzingers Instagram, America PT.2 is a different song than what’s on From Exile.
