JK. The Eva one is three hours away by train. Didn't realize how far away this stuff is.

 

I've been hearing stuff that Ibushi is gonna be at Takeover this Saturday. I didn't think I could be more excited about going but oh man

 

Dude why would she be there? I didn't even know that one still existed, it's literally in the middle of nowhere by the crappy mall we have. I wish I went to that charity game last year, I heard everyone did signings. If you see anything else definitely post it, I was just wondering when that schedule of promo stuff was coming out haha

 

I most excited for Ember Moon. She's gonna be my new favorite Mortal Kombat character.

 

I might actually end up going. It would be cheaper to drive in than take the train anywayz. As long as they have a parking lot, I'm goooooooood. It's only about an hour by car.

 

The miz one is literally 15 minutes away from me lol I hate signings but I'm tempted just cause why not? Are those free though? It doesn't say it is on the posting

 

I'm unsure on that one. I know the KO one I did required you buy a shirt. Might give them a call and see. If I have to buy an action figure, that's cool.

 

My friend told me he asked the toys r us and they said it's free. I just realized I can't go because I have an appointment at 11, damn it all. Gonna try to go to another one or two.

 

Finally watched this. The Joey Ryan booking was fucking hilarious.

Also, loved watching Dario go from super over face to back to heel in about 30s

 

The Dudleyz are at a Toys R Us by me this week. I have work otherwise I'd sadly probably wanna go, for the sake of my childhood memories more than anything

I was just thinking of MOTY candidates (after watching the last 2 nights of the G1), and it's crazy to think that two nominees from WWE are a Tomasso Ciampa/Johnny Gargano match and a Kota Ibushi/Cedric Alexander match. Just insane to think about compared to a year ago.

 

This is probably still my fave of the year. These dudes beat the living shit out of each other.

 

Naito/Omega, Tanahashi/Okada and Styles/Nakamura are my top 3

 

since we're talking about MOTY in August, can we talk about potential wrestler of the year candidates? Keep in mind WOTY is generally considered best "all around" performer as opposed to someone who just puts on incredible matches.

I personally can't think of any two wrestlers in the world that have had a more standout 2016 than Tetsuya Naito and Kenny Omega.

 

Kenny Omega, Sami Zayn, Tetsuya Naito, AJ Styles, Kazuchka Okada

 

Gotta be Naito. I just hope they have big plans for him going forward.

 

I think Kenny's gonna take it at the pace he's been going, but, AJ is definitely a close 2nd for me. He's had 3 incredible feuds, including carrying Roman during his title reign. He's had a 4+ star match in every feud too (Fastlane v Jericho, ER v Reigns, MITB v Cena).

And his mic work as a heel has been excellent

 

Eva Marie asked if I wanted her to take a selfie with me at Wrestlemania XXX axxess. Her and nattie were filming a segment for total divas after their signing and they came down to the barrier to shake hands with the small crowd around them. I was taking photos and she asked if I wanted a selfie with her. So I'll always get to say she asked me. Lol

i agree his mic work has been good but that soccer mom chant is the worst

 

I guess i'm in the minority that doesn't really care for AJ's mic work in WWE so far. I actually don't think AJ has ever been that great of a promo guy to begin with.

 

I work at the hotel wwe stays in when they come to Corpus Christi, and happen to be working overnight tonight with them here. Some interesting stuff going on to say the least.
