I thought with Pluto TV you couldn’t like pick and choose episodes? This is just a straight up streaming service which includes a no commercial plan. I mainly got it to watch early episodes of MTV’s The Challenge but it’s got a lot of old Nickelodeon classics like CatDog, Ren & Stimpy, and Double Dare.

 

Pluto has the regular TV channels and on-demand shows and movie iirc. But it’s inundated with the same five commercials.

Umbrella academy today

 

Is this any good? I always wanted to read the comics (mostly because of Way's involvement).

 

I enjoyed the first season a lot more than I thought I would. I had no knowledge of what it was about. But I don't think it would be for everyone.

 

The opening scene of Umbrella Academy they put up on YouTube the other day looked great. Like, a huge difference from season 1 and seemed to display their powers a lot more similarly to the comics. Pretty excited to watch.

Watched the first four of umbrella academy and it's a lot of fun

 

So, on the Amazon app on the FireStick they have a weird set up for some shows - I click on season 4 of Survivor and the first option is to start with episode 3 of the season, but it’s only available with the Hulu app. It’s also available with CBS All Access, which I have, so I decide to scroll through all the episodes to see if it’s after the Hulu ones and sure enough it is and starts with episode 1.

Hell’s Kitchen also did this where randomly in the middle of seasons, that are on Prime, episodes would suddenly start in Tubi not through Prime.
