It's my weekend folks and I'm drinking whiskey and watching stranger things but not currently drunk, yet.

 

@kassie09 I'm so into Stranger Things!! I have two episodes left (which I'll watch together tomorrow) and honestly it's so so good

 

I'm only on episode 3, I like it but it's been a little bit slow so far for me but I think things are starting to pick up for sure.

 

Yeah the pacing can be a little off but when shit happens, it really happens. I really enjoy the acting and some the cinematography is just fantastic (particularly the use of wide shots while out in nature)

Almost time for the Olympics Opening Ceremony here!

 

Do you know why the "opening" ceremony is multiple days after the Olympics start?

 

Haha no official answer, but they only started soccer (women's Wednesday, men's Thursday) and archery?? I know for soccer they play pretty much the entire games so I guess it's just a way to fit everything in?

I might be drunk, but I have no idea how these people on Catfish get this manipulated for so long. As someone who's done online dating, it boggles my mind.

 

I feel like it worked better in the early-mid 00s but now a days if someone can't provide ANY actual pictures of themselves it's definitely sketchy as hell

 

I was so proud to help my buddy drop a pic into Google image search (which I learned from Catfish, so thank you) and find her on 10 sites to break the news to him.

 

I'm watching it now and I truly do not understand either... It's weird and sad

 

Wallet was stolen last night, and I'm crossing my fingers that I won't get ID'd in about half an hour at the bar.
