Anybody else ever wish they could go back and re-read the old metal thread from the Absolutepunk days? I was thinking about it today.

to be fair i was also really mean in those days, but some of the metal thread posters were *ahem* brutal

 

kinda sucks but as long as the other mike and john are around im not worried. especially coming off of godless prophets.

 

I do recall the dude was Scottish so in retrospect I'd wager good money his "aggressive" online tone would probably just register as playful jest if you were hearing him speak, lmao.

 

legendary band. right up there with Morbid Saint and Vio-lence in the classic death/thrash genre

 

Nah he was from Richmond. I saw him at a few shows and hung out once.

ThemChains was pretty abrasive at first but he sort of softened. Offered me a ticket to the American Nightmare reunion gig long after it sold out. Couldn’t make it but the gesture was nice
