Are we starting the league on Sept 1st?

 

never, hopefully imo

 

I say we start it up on release week. Got mine preordered today at Best Buy.

 

We usually have a week to allow everyone to get the game. And we need time to figure out the kinks in the shitty game.

 

plus they usually put out a roster update a week after the game to tweak some of the stats.

 

Hoping they boost KB a little bit. Seems like he got pooped on compared to last madden just because of an injury.

 

I don't know what the hell you boys are talking about. I plan on getting this rolling early.

When do I need to get the game

 

Possibly, I'm afraid he'll retire after the first season like last madden though, even though he still has multiple years left in his arm, madden logic

I'd get it day one. I plan to create the league day 1 where deals can start happening. Roll through a couple preseason games for a few days. Give people a little time to get it and there's no major league destroying bugs out before we fully get going, but I'd say we are definitely going to be starting the regular season sooner rather then later.

Instead of creating the league early, we could just set up some scrimmages. That way we'd be able to wait out the initial bugs that are usually taken care of in 48-72 hours and the preseason rosters will be updated.

It'd make the free agency class stronger to start the league as well.

They always have the first roster update right when it comes out. Should give people fairly accurate rosters I also always like the idea of letting guys cut down there own roster.

That's why I basically plan on doing a full preseason. You can still play with your team a little and make moves. Bugs fixes still translate to the league whe it's already created.
