this is probably the album I go back to the most, but I wouldn’t say favorite, just have to be in the right mood for the others, whereas this is more universal.

 

yeah i was vibing hard to honeycomb and canary yellow. black brick was an all out assault.

 

Put this on yesterday for the first time in awhile and it really hit the spot. Early to mid-afternoon on a day where it just rained a couple hours prior; still somewhat cloudy with a bit of blue sky peaking through. Perfect. Reminds me of a day last year where I just went on a country drive and listened to some good albums, including this one.

Nice bump. I went for a late night drive last night and ended up putting on Canary Yellow.

I just wanna say when Kerry brings the blues riff back in Canary Yellow and just starts soloing it’s one of my favorite Deafheaven moments.

 

seeing black brick live was incredible and I totally agree that I'd love an entire album in that vein

 

this thread is speaking my language. Canary Yellow might be my favorite song of theirs rn, Black Brick isn’t far behind.
