    Should probably be ugk then.

for real though that black star album probably changed my life more than any other album as it was the true start to my love for the genre and the first hip hop album I personally bought.

East 1999 was the best track. Cleveland is the city where come from so run. Would chant this all the time during Cleveland Cavs playoff runs.

Only listened to that properly for the first time last year. Bought Crossroads and 1st Of Tha Month on single when I was still at school but took just under 25 years to listen to the rest. Better late than never I guess!

The Flo Milli album is so fun. If they make a new Fresh Prince of Bel Air show she should make the theme song.

Haven’t really checked out new Curren$y in years besides Fetti, but this is really good. Gold and Chrome is a vibe.

I really love this new resurgence of female artists using classic song beats in a new way.

we had megan with the Eazy e song and now saweetie with the too short song

Is anyone into Backxwash? I feel like her sound won't be for everyone here but she's picking up a lot of hype (most recently shortlisted for the Polaris prize) and seems a vital force in Canada's queer arts scene right now. New EP coming on Friday and her most recently LP dropped in May.

    HIP HOP CLASSICS: Bone Thugs-n-Harmony - E. 1999 Eternal • forum.chorus.fm

So, I made an executive decision this week. Considering all the shit Talib Kwali has been doing recently, I thought it best not to have Black Star be this weeks classic. Normally I would have chosen the runner up in the poll, but as that was tied, I decided for this week to chose something completely different to what was on the poll. And as E. 1999 Eternal turned 25 yesterday, I thought that it would probably be a a sensible choice.

Hope everyone is cool with that...?

That’s cool because the first year in which I’m not listening to Crossroads will the first year in which I won’t be alive

Man, I knew it was good since the first listen but this Armand Hammer record really fucking sunk in today. Not a single miss here. Pommelhorse and Frida especially rocked me this time around

I was listening to some more recent albums and I just remembered this great album. I recommend this song and also this one. I just wish Snoop gave a better verse for it.
