I disagree. I think Luda is the better rapper and has more hits than Nelly. But Nelly does have his fair share.

 

country grammar is one of the biggest rap albums of all time. wild.

 

MC Hammer was the biggest rapper in world in the early 90s. Doesn’t mean he was better than Ice Cube.

Luda is a muuuuuch better rapper than Nelly.

WUNNA deluxe just dropped. 8 new songs sequenced into the album. Really digging the new songs for the most part.

Never thought I would say this in 2020 but the new Logic album is probably either his best or his second best right after Under Pressure. I've always been a lot more lenient on him than most of the internet but I haven't fully enjoyed one of his projects this much since he was first blowing up (he's from my hometown)

Probably his best rapping/lyricism ever (I don't think he does that "fast rap" thing that you probably immediately hear in your head when you read his name a single time) and the production is phenomenal. I know he won't stay retired but it does really have a cool "final album" vibe to it too

I hope at least somebody agrees so I'm not just that one guy defending Logic again lol

 

Also this new Lupe EP is a quick but great listen

 

I don't think Logic is a bad rapper, there's just nothing for me there, aside from a 2019 Fresh Prince verse

 

Anything i've heard of Logic has been kinda unremarkable. Not good or bad, just there. Which is fine for some, but i've got to the point in my life where music has to really stand out for me to take notice.

 

I was pretty excited for Logic when he was first dropping the Young Sinatra mixtapes in like 2012. I haven't liked any of his studio albums since.

 

Three legends that come into my head on this matter is Missy Elliott, Snoop Dogg & Tupac..They are just true classics of this genre in my opinion...

 

More people need to listen to this new Blu & Exile album. May be a top 5 album by the end of the year.

 

What I noticed about the the deluxe version of WUNNA is that all the original songs are sequenced in a different order along with the new songs mixed in. Has this happened before? Usually deluxe versions just tag on the new songs at the end

 

I feel like it happened with a different album recently but I can’t remember specifically. I’m into it.

 

I know So Much Fun added the new songs at the top of the album, but that's all I can think of.

 

The new Curren$y and Harry Fraud tape is *chef's kiss*. These two are perfect for each other. Would like to see a Fraud and Jim Jones tape after hearing Jim's feature on this.
