I never got into the National because I'm not a fan vocally, but I can tell I'm missing out of some cool ass music huh

 

That sounds like literal goddamn heaven.

 

Trying to remember the last time an album was this long and I could make a legit case for every song being the best on the album. Coming up empty.

Truly a stunning work of art.

 

Everybody that likes this just needs to check out The National that should just be required listening as a human

I like this but I'm not as immediately blown away as most people are. I liked Lover more on first listen. I think this might just be less immediately accessible though and will hopefully grow on me a lot as I spend time with it and the lyrics. I think Betty and Mirrorball were my favourites.

Probably the most excited I've been for a first listen since Golden Hour, or maybe Integrity Blues. Similar situation where everything I'm reading leads me to believe this will be everything I've been wanting her to do for years. Let's go!
