Gosling and Evans are a big thumbs up from me but the Russo brothers....

 

I mean Winter Soldier is dope af. I say that as a very casual MCU fan.

 

If movies that cost that much money can be considered worth it by streaming services, it really takes away the argument that all these other movies waiting for coronavirus to be over for theaters to resume because they would otherwise lose money.

 

I just not am a fan of the MCU or the type of movies they make at all. But even apart from that if Joe Russo is writing the script, which he did for Extraction, then it’s going to be the most milquetoast and bland story imaginable. Gosling in particular doesn’t really do these types of movies so I’m kinda confused/intrigued to see his name attached to it

 

After Mr. Robot, ANYTHING Sam Esmail is attached to will automatically interest me

 

Why would a superhero movie ever be that long?

A medical drama having a plot about the biggest pandemic in decades is “shoehorning” it in?

What sense does that make?

 

I'd like the next season of Curb Your Enthusiasm to do it. Could make for some great episodes. I can just imagine LD losing it at people that won't distance or wear masks.

 

i see it as more likely that he doesn't wear a mask to make himself a pariah a la wearing the MAGA hat this season

 

I don't watch Greys, but if it takes place in current day and they didn't acknowledge the pandemic they would be a pretty shitty medical show

 

It certainly relevant for medical dramas, but it'll really be more about how it's incorporated and dealt with throughout the season. I was commenting more on inevitable coronavirus or quarantine episode that every show is probably writing for right now. I feel like every show is going to have a Thanksgiving episode, a Christmas episode, and then the coronavirus episode.

 

I can't believe it's been on for 17 seasons. They must repeat stories all the time.

Don’t these kinds of episodic dramas do “pulled from the headlines” episodes all the time? It’s all shoe-horned in.

Where it will really get annoying is in comedies and films
