Also wow I just looked at Beabadoobee's spotify numbers and had no clue she was that huge! Funny that she was billed below Phoebe for that 1975 tour that got cancelled. At this point she smokes both The 1975 and Phoebe combined in listeners.

With her blowing up and this Phoebe album getting so much acclaim, damn that really is the hottest tour that never was.

Seeing Clairo and Beabadoobee last year made me feel like a gd dinosaur haha. The only show in even relatively recent memory that I definitely did not have to worry about getting stood in front of by a person taller then myself at any point

the Beach Bunny record wore off for me really fast though. I can see them putting out something real special in a few years

She was billed lower because she had no album out at the time and the only time she had been to the states prior was opening for Clairo. She’s pretty huge but I still think Phoebe edges her out in the states on that tour in terms of billing.

 

Might be biased cause I can’t say I’m a BENEE fan at all, but idk if the Phoebe thread is really the place that’ll win her any new listeners hahah. Not that she needs them anyway I guess

 

Anyway a girl I know posted an insta story last night asking for song recs that would make her cry and I sent her Chinese Satellite and she just replied “why did you do this to me” lmao

 

Clairo is by far my favorite out of the grouping, but Beach Bunny is also great. Beabadoobee is growing on me. I can't really get into girl in red. I'll have to check out BENEE and mxtoon

 

Girl in red is my fave but that's at least partly because she's gay haha

 

having listened to them all since, girl in red is probably my least favorite
