Never heard of it but you best believe I'm diving into some demos now.

They fixed your brain when you were young.

How do you like the Katana? I was really close to getting one a few years back.

Same. Also really want a Slo. The fathom is rad, but I'd love to have a Slo as a "weird" reverb.

Lucky Cat is great. The only thing I really don't like much is that you can't reset the tab tempo to what the tempo on the knob is. So basically the tab tempo cancels out the tempo knob.

How do you like going Fuzz -> OD vs OD -> Fuzz? I've always done the latter.

putting the fuzz first makes the OD essentially a boost. it’s how i usually run my board, with highest “gain” pedals first. but i don’t have an OD on my board right now and the treble booster has germanium parts, so it makes more sense to have it closer to the guitar signal

I love the Katana. Wife got it for me as a gift and it's definitely a step up from the small Marshall I was using. Went in and set up some presets and so on. It sounds great, especially with the "secret" amps you can.
I may have to do this sooner rather than later.
To be honest, I don't play the fuzz too often. I have the current set up because the Fuzz War goes nuts if it has any gain going into it. It's like....uncontrollable haha. So much feedback and noise. I put it first and that seemed to pull it back a bit and worked for me. I haven't messed with order too much once I moved it first, as it pretty much worked for when I needed it.

I saw one of those Katana minis on sale the other day. The little 7 watt one. So I bought it cuz why not. It sounds amazing. It’s not a modeling amp but it sounds so good. I’m definitely interested in a bigger katana now

I usually go OD -> Fuzz.. but I'm thinking about switching it up. I like to have the TS808 first in the chain with the lowest amount of drive on it for if I want just a "kiss" of grit if I play hard. But I'm thinking about putting the staggering them though and doing TS808 -> Loaf -> DRV -> Fuzz Peaks or something like that just to mess around.

I want to try treble booster. I may build one as I've heard it's pretty straight forward as far as builds.

yeah they don’t have a ton of components and basically every variation is based off the same rangemaster amp top units that have schematics available online. i like it a lot. it’s basically my “always on” pedal and then i’ll slam it with one if the two fuzzes or the distortion on my board

think i'm gonna go without a reverb on the board (i only use it minimally and it kinda muddies stuff up more than anything) and i'm gonna grab both the lucky cat and the arp87 so i can run both a digital and an analog delay on the board

I very rarely used reverb until recently. Grown to appreciate it a ton, but I play post-rocky ambient noise so it fits haha.

right, i don’t think i’ll use it a ton, it’s muddy, and having two different timed and voiced delays will be more useful i think

I make reverb out of my delay mostly haha get two delays going and it’s better than a reverb

I’m like the reverse, I have a kilobyte but have to force myself to use it. Like it sounds incredible. But in the context of a song I just always veer towards reverb instead. Never really bonded with delay. With reverb I have a Dark World and then I use the Mood as a delay reverb because you can unsmear the reverb into multiple delays bouncing off each other.

I remember watching the arp87 product video and thinking it sounded dope. I’m not familiar with the Lucky Cat. Analog delay sound is my personal favorite.

I had a vox ac15hw1 but had to sell it a couple years back to make rent, this is the first amp I’ve bought since selling that one. it’s part of the 50th anniversary edition line that came out in 2007, it’s got a Top Boost channel and an EF86 channel, and the H2L also has an african mahogany cabinet. they only did a run of 500 of them.

this guy has the best videos I can find of it being demo’d:

i bought a morgan a few years back and, while i love it, it’s definitely way more amp than i need. i’m not dying to sell it but i put it on reverb just to see if there’s any interest. i’ll probably downgrade to a deluxe reverb if so.
