i hate to be the “how about more” guy, but now i want a kuzunoha raidou remaster

 

Is that a 2D Rune Factory-like?

 

It looks more in a similar vein to a cute version of Odin Sphere/Muramasa: The Demon Blade.

I've been hesitant to buy it based on the combat. But the story seems really fun.

 

Do it, you won't be disappointed. It's just such a lovely adventure.

It's definitely a palate cleanser with all those dark and brooding games out there right now. Extremely funny.

 

The only game I've really been playing on the Switch is still Animal Crossing. So I guess even more light hearted couldn't hurt

 

Animal Crossing: the most brutal game of 2020.

 

I only started last night so I haven't seen too much combat, but my understanding is that is gets more complex as the game progresses, which I'm looking forward to. Otherwise story seems fun and charming, the music rules, and the humor is on point so far.

also this is the first entry I've played since PM64, so I haven't really been too invested in how this series has evolved

Given the weird circumstances this year I’ve definitely tempered my expectations but I think we will still get the Mario remasters which is what I’m most looking forward to. If we get those along with Silksong, I’ll be very happy

 

Silksong might not even be 2021

 

It will definitely be 2021. They can't hang onto it until 2022. That would be absurd.

 

I dunno, it's not like they're worrying about running a huge studio or pleasing their shareholders. I imagine they have an HK war chest. Wouldn't be surprised at all if they take their time
