For those that post in here but don’t take part in the classics discussions... why? No judgement, just wondering. And is there anything that could persuade you to join in?

 

For me it depends on the album, some I just don’t really care about or have nothing to say about

 

Already heard most of the classics and I tend to hang out on here for news and recs moreso than discussion

 

For me I just get overwhelmed with the hip hop and R&B threads every week it's a lot to commit to getting around to each album then talking about them. I'm kinda like, annoyingly nerdy about my listening habits during the day and it's tough to get that into the rotation as well.

 

I rarely come to chorus anymore

 

I’ll pop in to say what my favorite tracks are. But I don’t know the ins and outs of the genre enough to say anything critical about it besides I like it.

That’s a good idea actually. Have say three or four questions in the OP and maybe it will get a little more conversation going on. May start that next week if anyone else thinks it’s a good idea...?

Uzi and Future are rumored to be dropping a collab album on the 31st

 

TDE is well known for holding back albums but I think for Isaiah some of it is on him, he's had a lot of personal issues in the last few years. Seems to be in a much better place now though, I think Reason will be the next TDE artist to drop and then probably him (depending on how far back they push Kendrick and SZA because of the virus)
