  1. Wonder if they try to hold that in NZ with fans since they handled the Covid thing really well.

Man I hope the LW title fight is on 253 as rumored. That would be a hell of a PPV.

  3. Fiziev looks legit. If he keeps improving through his next couple fights he’ll be a menace.

Wow Benavidez had absolutely nothing for him this time.

Joe had no chance. Absolute destruction.

I was afraid that would happen. Joe kept throwing the same combination over and over in the last fight (and dipping his head down which fed into the clash of heads). Figueiredo threw that first hook right at the perfect level for that and I don’t think Joe ever recovered. His eyes were wide and glassy the whole fight.

Figueiredo has so much power too. Dude's the real deal.

  9. I’ve seen a lot of chokes but that one felt so brutal to me.

I felt the same way when Bones dropped Machida.

Yeah it’s hard to fault Goddard cause Joe refused to tap despite nearly being bent in half. But, that shot of Joe’s eyes white as ghosts before he plopped over was rough to see.

  11. Joe is 28-2 in non-title fights

    0-5 in them

    Faber-esque

Can’t help but wonder what Figueiredo vs Cejudo would’ve been like.

  13. I feel like all the 170 contenders want Woodley because they won’t a big win haha like none of them seem to respect Woodley at all.

If Colby plows through him I don’t know what Woodley does next.

MMA is weird in that some great fighters are written off when they lose to top contenders. Like, if the no. 10 guy beat Woodley then i'd be shocked and wonder if he's gonna want to keep going. Burns wasn't that much of a shock considering his layoff and Burns is on a hot streak right now.

Personally I wanna see Wonderboy fight but I feel like the same happened to him. No one cares for him since his loss to Tyron despite him being one of the greatest strikers to exist in the UFC. Covington, Chiesa, or Usman would be a serious challenge for him that i'd love to see.

  16. Cody could easily make the cut. I’d love to see it

Could this be a potential path to two-division champ/full redemption Garbrandt!?

I was surprised he didn't make that move earlier. When the UFC released the day-of-fight weight results one time, it turned out that Cody's fight weight was 142 lbs. That was the exact same as Mighty Mouse and Cejudo on the same night.

Whittaker vs. Till is gonna be amazing

I honestly don't know who wins but I'm leaning towards Whittaker

Yeah what a great fight that isn’t on a PPV. I honestly expect great things from this card.

Weird to think despite all of the chaos and pandemic, we’re getting some amazing fights this year consistently.

Masvidal doubled down on his public support for Trump today, so 100% fuck him.

Kinda cool tbh. Didn’t expect him to step in with somebody as popular as Roy.

Don’t wanna see Whittaker or Till lose. Realllly don’t wanna see either guy get KO’d.....but the thing that Whittaker is best at — the feint into a blitzing left hook — is the thing that Till is most susceptible to. Till’s defense is so heavily reliant on sliding out of range, all footwork and no head movement, and when he slows down just a little he puts himself in serious danger against a fast blitzing striker. I fear a similar result to the Masvidal fight if Whittaker is on his game.
