I still wish we would have got the version with Jim Carrey and Sean Penn.

 

A Most Violent Year was so bad. Some of the nuttier Oscar sycophants were trying to compare it to the Godfather.

 

We’re Back: A Dinosaur Story

My wife swears this movie didn’t exist until I made her watch it a couple years ago

 

No how dare you that is a classic.

 

That movie used to scared the shit out of me

 

all of James Franco’s Faulkner/Steinbeck adaptations

 

when the dinos ate the evil cereal

 

We’re Back definitely happened. Cecilia was one of my first animated crushes. My wife and I were best friends as kids (I had a massive crush on her then too) and she always looked like Cecilia to me.

 

Speaking of animated movies, there’s like 13 different Land Before Time sequels isn’t there?

 

At first I was surprised there were multiple of these. Then I saw there's also a Cormac McCarthy and an upcoming Bukowski haha.

 

They've probably been mentioned already but the Will Ferrell movie about him coaching a kid's soccer team (I can't remember the name of it) and The Benchwarmers. I remember going to see the latter one because it had the guy from Napoleon Dynamite in it, but I don't remember anything about it except for the "beef stew" joke

 

I only remember that it’s called “Kicking and Screaming” because it’s the same title as the Noah Baumbach movie.

And they are two very different movies lol.

 

Kicking and Screaming has a great performance from Mike Ditka

 

When Will gets addicted to coffee, that’s the best part about that whole movie hahaha

 

A few weeks ago friends and I were talking about how surprising it was that Mean Girls and Bridesmaids never had sequels since they were/are so popular and then someone googled and found this.

 

speaking of sequels, does this belong?

It may be too infamous to count but maybe that’s just in my house and everyone else forgot it, lol.

 

actually it definitely happened because it gave us this incredible cinematic moment

 

Kicking and Screaming is great

 

Honestly, this movie is so fucking funny, yet I don't see anyone ever talk about it.
