There's discussion happening in the new album thread, but I figure it's good to bring it up here too. Evan Weiss (Into It. Over It.) announced a new album, and it appears the woman involved in the situation years ago (who he told to "shut up and play nice" when she came to him to discuss her abuse from his manager) is not pleased with his comeback.

 

Makes me think that speech the Slow Mass guitarist gave at the Ratboys album show this year was about EW, basically saying that person better not be at the show because of all the people they've hurt.

 

I'm not sure if he was there at Lincoln Hall but he was definitely there at The Hideout the next day.

Wasn't there something years ago that involved ADTR throwing beer bottles at a girl in the Warped bus lot?

 

How bad would that be on the band if they find out 500 attended, 400 got sick, and 200 died. Don't they hold the record for the band to have killed the most fans at live concerts? What idiots, fuck that band.

 

The demographic of that bands fans are the exact people that are out marching against wearing masks so, nothing about this is shocking lol

 

I don't know a thing about this band or their history. I don't even know who they are. But someone in the comments on Stereogum said that the members of the band at the time of that fire and the members playing this show are not the same? Not that it matters that much, both incidents are abhorrent, but I think it might just be the same band in name only?

Yeah, I remember watching that video of it. Kinda wish I never did. It's horrible.

 

There’s two versions of that band, one was involved in the fire incident and the other did this concert.

 

Insane Clown Posse posted this on Facebook today. Insane Clown Posse calling out Dahvie Vanity isn't something I thought I would see today, but good for them for doing it.
