Just finished up Ju-On: Orgins. I would like more of that shit, please.

 

Still finishing up Supergirl and Batwoman. Been meaning to watch Doom Patrol and Watchmen. Also Umbrella Academy s2 soon. And uh, maybe hate-watch The Boys s2. Yay superhero stuff!

I still need to start Haunting of Hill House (which I have on DVD), just have to get back into the mood for horror again after watching Doctor Sleep.

 

Speaking of horror, I had no idea that Ju-On Netflix series was a thing.

 

Supermarket Sweep and Shop Til You Drop were the GOAT game shows from the 90's

 

One of the first episodes I just watched on Netflix had a question about Bill Cosby and I cringed so hard

 

I just don't know how I've never heard of Supermarket Sweep, I watched game shows all the time when I was sick a lot as a kid haha. Did it not have many reruns? Price is Right was my shiiit.

 

Finally checking out Palm Springs and What We Do In The Shadows tonight, both look hilarious

 

I was so happy when I saw supermarket sweep on Netflix the other night. The reboot with Leslie Jones is supposed to come out this fall. I’d take a reboot of shop til you drop too.

 

Leslie Jones cracks me up so I'm definitely curious what a more modern take will be like

 

Supermarket sweep was great to watch when home sick from school

 

I used to watch it in the same block on Lifetime with Golden Girls and Designing Women and I don’t know if TV can get better than that.

 

I watched many reruns on PAX TV.

 

I've never even heard of PAX TV . My parents had the most basic Comcast cable package back then

 

It's now ION Television. It is/was one of those local channels you got but was like at the tail end of the channels you actually received reception for.

 

I remember watching Designing Women with my mom as a kid. And China beach. Don’t remember what either show was about but I can vividly remember the intros

 

Supermarket sweep was big on game show network too. the host is Iconic.

 

Supermarket Sweep was always mine and my sister's favorite game show when we were kids. We'd always argue over who would run the sweep if we ever went on the show together.

 

Palm Springs was great, really glad I watched it!

 

Finished Dave and still feel pretty much the same. There were certainly great moments, but it was still mostly... ok-ish at best, Lil Dicky just kinda still sucks and his personality in the show sucks too. All the other characters are better. I'll probably keep watching next season, but I also think I would have been fine not watching the show at all

 

I think I made it fifteen minutes in before turning it off

 

Doubt it's due to controversy. They've only ever had the 5 most recent episodes on there at a time. Full season is on Netflix.

 

I don’t know who to blame but the fact that HBO Max isn’t on Roku and Amazon Fire TV, 70% of the streaming market, is pretty damn absurd

 

Sounds like Peacock will not be reaching a deal with Roku and Amazon prior to launching, either.

 

I saw that, something is definitely up and neither side wants to be honest about it.

 

It’s really frustrating.
