i guess what i am getting at is i think ultimately the question of whether the fbi was biased for or against clinton is ultimately irrelevant because i dont believe that it is possible for them to be impartial. any other person who was being considered for investigation for the same actions wouldnt have been treated impartially either because to be investigated for that kind of thing you are already a political actor and someone who it is next to impossible to be impartial about. yk what i mean?

Ok I see what you are saying, and I agree. Maybe impartial is the wrong word to use. Maybe the phrase "acted in collusion with the Clinton campaign" would be more apt?

I don't expect the FBI or the DOJ to behave objectively in regards to pressing charges against Clinton, and I don't expect the media to report objectively, and I do expect Clinton to attempt to collude with all parties to ensure that she comes out of this clean and the whole thing is spun as some conspiracy perpetuated by her opponents.

And look, I get it, Trump is dangerous, he can't be president, but the liberal allies in the institution of government as well as the media lose their moral authority (if they ever had any to begin with) when they are willing to suspend their duties in serving the people by protecting, informing, and questioning because they are trying to stop Trump.

I am only on my first cup of coffee, so I apologize if this doesn't make sense haha.

Or why throwing your lot in with democrats has made US labor historically weak:

"Why is that? More than anything, it’s because the United States has historically lacked a strong, independent, political left. In other countries, workers organizing to defend their rights not only formed unions to protect them on the job, but also labor or socialist political parties to protect them as a class — the working class. Building off surges of worker protest, these parties won pro-labor reforms, either by winning office or posing enough of a political threat to get ruling parties to act. More broadly, they expanded notions of democratic citizenship to include many of the social welfare benefits like health care and old age security that are now taken for granted. Overall, this wove workers’ rights more tightly into the fabric of democracy, making it harder to unravel them."

The U.S. doesn’t have a strong third party, and it hurts labor unions the most

I just want to reiterate that, as laughable as Trump is, we had a guy with Alzheimer's as the actual president. Whatever the case may be, when Trump collapses, the right-wing movement will get even more violent.

I read a comment somewhere that said "by October Trump will be denying that he ever ran for president".

I laughed, but it if that actually happened, I don't know how shocked I would be.

"With no real recourse to have her attacker removed from the convention floor, Snyder had little choice other than to endure his presence. Snyder says that he was instructed to stay away from her which, she says, he did not do. He remained at the convention for the rest of the week. Video he appeared in even went semi-viral the following week. “It’s so disempowering,” Snyder says."

Clinton's lead over Trump in CO is 12. Trump's margin over Johnson is 14. Margin of error on the poll is +/- 3.3%. Meaning the difference between Clinton and Trump is within the margin of error of the difference between Trump and Johnson.
