Honestly, I'm with you on this one.

What?

 

I could swear the whole importance of exclusives discussion started literally exactly the same way, including Vase posting about someone saying that same thing about Halo Infinite

 

Unless I dreamt that, but I hope not, because the implications of that would he hellish

 

Idk, I’m just saying I think that Halo Infinite is a super important game for them

 

I don’t know, I think Halo at this point is about satisfying a loyal multiplayer base, not critics etc. But maybe. It’s definitely kind of a relaunch.

 

Exactly. It's not as defining as people the fans think it is anymore. The series has hit some big bumps in the road over the past decade.

It's not that Halo is important right now, it's that any games under the Xbox brand is important right now because they so royally fucked it up this gen.

 

Though not numbering it also definitely leaves the door open for “Hey here is Halo 6, forgot about that side game we made” in case it sucks or doesn’t do well.

 

I think most games they put out have been good to great

 

I think the next halo game will be fine but I also don’t expect a lot out of them since I’m casual

 

I can't wait to see the incredibly detailed and beautiful worlds in the trailers with no release dates and then they get pushed around for three years until they get cancelled, shifted to another project or forced to be released as a terrible product like Crackdown 3.

I finished Xenoblade yesterday. Next is that game Persona rip-off that Vase recommended.

 

I still need to finish future connected. someone force me

 

Think I might start Trials of Mana. obvi I need to finish it in a week because Ghost out next week

 

I'm gonna do that after this other game, otherwise it is overkill
