I'm kinda in shock rn, my office mate that was exposed by her daughter to Covid is here today... and she hasn't gotten her results back yet. I was told that it was going to kind of work out perfectly because she's only part time anyways, and she wasn't scheduled to work again for 2 weeks (dating back to last Wednesday)

WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK

 

I paid the first couple times when interest was suspended but didn’t last month, and this month I’m like...ehhhhh.....pay the government....? I don’t know.

 

People are so fucking stupid. I don’t understand.

We're healthcare so we're exempt for all CDC guidelines ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

Not sure which state your in, but in PA, staff were not permitted to work in my facility until their results came back. Period.

To add: Exposure was one thing, because we were ALL exposed, but if someone was tested they'd automatically have to quarantine until results were received.

 

Im in Colorado and it’s up to the individual healthcare employer what guidelines they want to follow and enforce and mine does not give a single fuck lol

They said, and I quote, “we are a healthcare facility and are exposed to different kind of hazards daily, if we let people not come in to work because of exposure then no one would show up.”

The issue is that so much is left to interpretation. One of my peers, who runs a different nursing home in my division, operates completely different than I do, yet we're both going off of the same guidance. It's such a disaster.
