New arrivals. If you haven’t heard that Prince Paul record I can’t recommend it highly enough. Such a classic 90’s rap record.


**also if anyone is looking for an additional vinyl community www.needlesandgrooves.com is where I spend a majority of my time. It’s turned into a huge community after VMP shuttered their forum. It is dangerous though, especially the Pre Order and Online Deal threads.

Ended up pulling the trigger on that UØ box set. Kinda bummed they didnt include Disambiguation in there as well but I wont complain with 180g and being able to check off 3 records at the top of my want list at such a good price.

the deluxe LP variant here might be the coolest variant I've ever seen

 

Bought my first 7" in years (Fiddlehead). Wouldn't be opposed to a band just putting the same song on one side multiple times so I dont have to immediately flip it 3 minutes after I start it. Never feel justified owning these.

 

gonna buy my first record player... any suggestions for something good but not too expensive, and everything else id need for it? like speakers

Spoon- Gimme Fiction is $8.55 on Amazon (I know). But that’s a steal. Pressed at RTI.

 

maybe $300 max for the player, $200 for the speakers?

 

I think most would say audio technica LP-120 for about $250.

and you can probably find some nice Polk bookshelf speakers for about $200.

 

I got the U Turn Orbit and absolutely love it. Depending on how you customize it it could cost between $179 and $700.
