Saw a theory before the episode that things wouldn't end well for her. When she spoke with Elliot (or maybe Darlene) she was staring at Van Gogh's last painting, which is believed to foreshadow his suicide. As we know, Sam doesn't include detail like that by accident.

The first 19 minutes of the episode were so perfect. Cried I was laughing so hard at points. This show really knows how to come out swinging in every episode.

I also loved how they shot the Angela scene too. Really added to the intensity of it.

Doesn't surpass da3m0ns.mp4 as my favorite episode of the series, but it was certainly one of the better ones imo.

If you have told me a few weeks ago....that Alf runs over Gideon....

Anyway, incredible episode, and I don't think people are talking enough about the final scene. Heartbreaking.

The scene where Elliot hugged it out with Mr Robot got to me. The flashback did too.

Depends how well other shows are doing on USA, something to be said for having a critical darling on your channel despite poor ratings.

Can someone help me with the whole Cisco/Dark Army angle?

Why is Angie shocked to see him? He works with The Dark Army and gave Angie the disc (before she was officially involved) in order to hack AllSafe, right? The Dark Army was kind of working with Elliot's crew in order to hack EvilCorp? Does Elliot's crew not know his affiliation with The Dark Army?

Other than GOT, this is the one show that gives my memory fits piecing things together.

This season has been solid, but definitely hasn't touched the highs of season 1 yet

Angela didn't know his affiliation with fsociety. I took the scene as her questioning/thinking that she's just a pawn in all of this/that fsociety holds some responsibility for what's happened to her

Also how awesome was Darlene saying "What's your damage?"

agreed, but I would say that the highs of season one were primarily during the second half of the season which we haven't hit yet in season two.

I agree, Elliot's plot is going nowhere, I liked the first few episodes of this season and last weeks but found last nights boring. He needs to get out of the institution/prison/his moms house and join the rest of fsociety so they can move the plot forward

It's looking more and more like Tyrell has been killed and won't show up until the end of the season in a flashback. If so, what a waste of a great character

Expanding on my own thought now that I'm thinking about it/procrastinating...
This creates an interesting conflict that I think might arise, if Angela is still teetering on the border of wanting to advance in Ecorp(whatever that means) or being fully entrenched in fsociety. If I'm not mistaken, we don't know whether Ollie/Angela were directly targeted by the Dark Army or if they just happened to be the people to take the CD (ie. Cisco was just looking for any Allsafe employee). Did Darlene/Elliot tell Cisco to target them? Did Darlene/Elliot present that as their 'appeal' to get in with the Dark Army to lead the hack? my head hurts now

tl;dr Angela not knowing the full extent of the relation between Darlene and Cisco/fsociety and the Dark Army could lead to her having animosity that turns her away from fsociety and towards being on "ecorp's side"(whatever that exactly entails)

If she's lasts long enough for her to be "on a side". My opinion is she's the next to die ([Spoilers S02E05] Is this Van Gogh painting foreshadowing something? • /r/MrRobot). I can't wait for next week to see what comes from her and Dom's confrontation.

Idk, I loved it at first but then I really thought about certain aspects and it felt like a 15 year old that shops at Hot Topic wrote it.

I mean pretty much anyone that lives in this cyber world in real life says this is one of the smarteat shows out there about this topic

Again, the rhetoric espoused by Elliott and F-Society shouldn't be taken at a face value.

  22. I'd hire the shit out of that 15-year old if that was true.

Are we confusing Mr. Robot with Hackers?

This this this. I think they've made it even clearer this season that his rants are more of a comment on how ineffective just ranting about society is. The contrast between Elliot, who's stuck in his own head, and Darlene, who's out getting it done, particularly supports this. It feels to me like a sly critique of social media (and those exact 15 year olds) in a lot of ways.
