Ahahaha, Baroness Von Bon Bon was such a fun boss (and a massive nightmare to beat). I was LOSING MY SHIT on my 15th or so attempt when I was finally about to beat her because I was down to 1HP and I really thought her head was going to kill me. What a stressful game, haha.

 

2.5D Metroid would be my preferred surprise announcement.

 

It's apparently in the works, MercurySteam is handling it. I think the rumor was it's an original game this time? Don't know if that means it's going to take place after Fusion though (which I desperately hope it does).

 

Yeah this was a really good one. Not knowing which character was going to come out always kept it fresh. Also an example of the randomness of the game and how sometimes you just have to keep trying until you get a favourable pattern.

I need to pick up Cuphead again, made it through seven or eight levels. I think I took a break after that carnival level with the trampolines.
