i got into sufjan bc i’m from illinois and am a selfish boy

 

I wish the debut single wasn't the last track, but it's not like I need to hear anything before release to make up my mind.

 

There is absolutely no way I'm not listening to the single as soon as it's possible

 

Omg I'm so stoked. I'm going to be in a cabin in the woods type situation on Friday which feels so ideal for Sufjan

 

I'm not going to listen to the single because tbh I want to hear the entire album at the same time. I'm excited for that b-side to be released, though!

Damn I remember that song haha. Saw Chiddy Bang like freshman year of college and it was a blast but also not a very good show

 

Just throwing this out there since they both have newly released albums they won’t be able to tour on until next year...

I’m still beating myself up for missing Sufjan on the C&L tour

 

Luckily you will get to see him this time around, since I can’t see him not wanting to tour these new songs. It’s just a matter of when it’s safe to do so.

 

I’m beating myself up for missing him at Outside Lands 2016 but I didn’t know him that well at the time and his set ended right when Radiohead’s started on a different stage

 

Saw him on that tour and when his set was done turned around to walk about 200 yards to see Bon Iver. Best night of my life.

 

Saw him on the C&L tour where he changed up all the songs crazy live, and it was amazing. Also saw him at Coachella where he did Impossible Soul in it's entirety, plus more, and it was life changing

 

Can’t wait to hear Sufjan’s 12 minute pop song about America

 

I hope it’s just him reciting the 48 states he hasn’t done yet ala “We Didn’t Start the Fire” for 12 mins. Over and over.

 

The clear vinyl sure sold out fast. Probably going to wait for the mass-produced release and get it cheaper later on.

 

had a bad day and been off the internet, so finally getting to browse and seeing a new sufjan record announced is just what i needed

 

i will say i'm the slightest bit bummed i don't get a song immediately and also that the first track released is the closer

but i won't be able to resist

 

Ready for some Weird Sufjan again.
