The GQ article has me concerned that this will be an outlier on the album, but if there’s one thing we do know, it’s that you have no idea what a Kanye album is going to sound like until about two weeks after it comes out.

I think that's really underselling his importance to culture/the genre/how good they were, but yeah.

 

I mean a lot of people including myself are probably overstating how good this song may be if only because the last 2 releases and loosies have all been absolute shit

 

Are his last two released the gospel ones? Or JIK and Ye? I can't speak on whether or not that song is better than the Gospel tracks because I don't think I finished JIK and won't go anywhere near JIB, but that track is not better than Ghost Town (the only good song on Ye).

 

why do people always forget KSG? Ye has No Mistakes and Ghost Town on it which i love. but the majority is throwaway
