Be cool if they threw a cover in somewhere. But I'm mostly just excited to see how it'll all work. Sounds like it's going to be a pretty professional set up and everything.

 

TBH I want to hear that rendition they've done a few times of Suburbia, Ive Given You All, and And Now Im Nothing as one song

 

This will be the first time I've ever seen them play live in any way (not even watched them on youtube or anything).

So I'm pretty sure it's going to be great for me at least.

I literally have no idea of their standard setlists or anything. I'm so new! I'm super super excited about it. I'm glad this will be the first time I experience them live.

 

Oh shit yeah you'll love it. They're an excellent live band. Obviously this will be a little different and more stripped down version of them, but they're great live musicians.

I feel like this will heavily draw on the two volumes of Burst & Decay but they'll still throw a bunch of surprises on there. I wanna hear some more of the Sister Cities songs in this setup and if they do The Ocean Grew Hands to Hold Me I will crumble into dust.

 

Thanks! I'm torn between really really wanting to watch it live (at 11pm here in the UK) and not doing that but watching it for the first time as the recording with my friend who introduced me to TWY (who can't watch it live tonight)

 

I'm such a naive new TWY fan that I'm hoping for stuff from the upsides... But whatever it is is gonna be the best thing I've seen for a long time

 

The only song from The Upsides I see having a chance of making the cut is Washington Square Park (since it was on B&D Vol. 2) but I'm expecting some surprises!

 

Yeah that's what I'm thinking too. Maybe both of the EPs in full and then another one or two random songs or a cover thrown in. I'm expecting something cool and exclusive, something that makes the stream special. Whether thats a cover, a deep cut, a guest, I don't know.

 

Livestream is up if anyone wants to load it in the background ready. Just a wide angle of the set up at the minute, so not missing anything.

 

But I haven't listened to B&D 1 yet

I'm so lucky that this band came into my life now, in the last few months. This gig is just making me feel so much love. I'm so lucky that this gig is happening at this point in my discovery of TWY. Ha maybe getting a bit emotional.
