the ETID group is kind of a mess but I've been in Coheed Thrice and Deftones groups that were all tire fires in comparison, it's not that bad

As much as I love ETID, I’m a little skeptical of them having an album long enough to warrant this... unless it’s at 45rpm

 

The opening drumsticks for “Holy Book of Dilemma” pop in my head all the time.

The drums on that album are particularly aggressive and punishing. Might be their best of their discography.

straight up. they have made no bad songs in over 15 years. if they're putting it out i already know it'll be good

 

Idk if I've ever liked a double album as a whole. I might like every song but it's too much

 

The only tracks the band has that I don’t particularly enjoy is the Nirvana cover and C+. Everything else is at least par.

 

I mean we say double album but 16 tracks really isn't THAT long, I think it's fine

each side of a vinyl record can hold 22ish minutes of music, so a double LP is over 45 mins. also they mentioned somewhere they had 16 tracks done for this album, although unclear if all will be on the album.

 

If you like etid why not be excited!?

 

I prefer to listen to whole albums, and really prefer records where the fat is trimmed. I’d rather have a 40 minute record that is awesome front to back than a 55 minute record with some subpar songs thrown in. It’s a personal thing for me, but a couple duds can really sour me on the whole album.

that said, it’s not fair for me to project that will happen here.
