I know AJ said on podcasts the band reformed when he was sentenced to jail for a year

 

that's not what i was saying at all. the band was a dumpster fire with cody, and while they have never hit that same low, i still find their vibe to messy.

are you saying that cody stealing is the only reason this band is a mess? cause i disagree.

really wasn't trying to compare the cody years to whatever they have going on now. my initial comment was two separate ideas that i should have fleshed out more.

also, it's weird you think i'm uninformed given i was a fan during the CP years and know all the drama that surrounded the band at that point, a lot of which can be found online

Do you really think going over the stuff that [REDACTED] piece of shit has done to the band (and other people, remember the times he said gross stuff to women in the scene?) in 2020 is a productive use of your time?

That and the suspicious faux concerns over AJ's health or their image or whatever. Sure, think they're being immature for some reason. I won't disagree with that, and to be honest, I don't even really care that much and debating over this of all things on chorus.fm is the last thing I want to do today or any other day. But if your thoughts start to cross the line and turn into judging them as people and making weird assumptions about their private lives... just stop and self-reflect for one second.

Mother Nature is their best album and that kinda says all it needs to say about band members

 

They've been uploading a lot of old tour videos to the new youtube channel.
It's such a pain in the ass getting a youtube page monetized (I think it's 1k subscribers and 4k hours watched) so hopefully they hit that soon.

 

I wanted to say something similar but also didn't want to cause waves. Ben's instagram said the new band Dim was 2 years in the making, so seems like something he's been working towards and there are no hard feelings so even with the "lineup changes", it doesn't seem like a bad vibe at all. Not to harp on things but.

Can it be July 10th so we can have the camaraderie back from when Mother Nature was released??

 

I did think this band became hard to root for around Golden Record and in the lead-up to the breakup in 2014. I remember writing something about how it sucked to lose respect for a band that had basically defined my life soundtrack from 18 to 22 or so. But I attributed that 99 percent to Cody. I'm kind of surprised people still have that feeling about them post-reunion, because I feel like they've had mostly good vibes and good stability since they came back.

 

I think the band is the best they’ve ever been, just when your first push into being independent starts with your label being called molly water music and the single being Fuck Them All it’s kind of just a big eye roll. But hey, to each his own.

 

Yeah this is the only TDS album I really enjoy.

 

I really don't see the big deal with the single being called Fuck Them All. It's not like they were a radio band to begin with.

Cee Lo Green had a song 10 years ago titled "Fuck You." Title didn't stop it from going to #1.

 

I mean wasn’t the radio edit for that song called “Forget You”?

I guess my point was they could easily make a radio edit and change the title if they really wanted to push the song. But have they ever pushed songs to radio?

 

Radio isn’t what you’d wanna go for right now anyway. Playlists on places like Spotify and Apple Music are.

 

I think this band are swell.

I don't know how anyone can say the band is a mess post reunion. They've released one very good comeback album, one amazing album that went in a new direction for the band and have toured consistently without issues.
