Like at the time I didn't think it was too bad/they weren't that much different in age, but rewatching it and being wiser in general, you realize just how gross it is. When does it start going off the rails?

 

Yeaaah haha I will be the first to admit that when I first started watching in like what 2012, I shipped them lol. The older I got and more radicalized I got I realized how wrong it really was. There’s no shortage of problematic things to be said about PLL but I also think there are a lot of positives.
I’d say it goes off the rails around season 4

My son looooves My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Which is great because there’s SO much content to keep him entertained. Nine seasons and a whole bunch of movies. It’s also gotten him into DC Super Hero Girls because Lauren Faust is behind that one as well and it’s got that vibe.

 

Didn't realize she was also behind Super Hero Girls. I'm interested in that one more now. All of that one is on Netflix currently right?

 

I hate myself for how much I'm enjoying Floor Is Lava.

It is! When I first did a search for it (my son saw clips of it on YouTube and loved it so I had to go find it) for whatever reason the firestick didn’t tell me it was on Netflix and I was too lazy to google it. So I purchased the first season on Prime. Then discovered it’s on Netflix.
